Mike Kalter is currently a senior at Kettering Fairmont High School. He has taken a variety of culinary classes including Creative Cooking, Food for Fitness, and Culinary Techniques. He was also a member of the Kettering Fairmont Varsity High School Football Team. Throughout his high school career, he has wanted to become a chef. He took all of the courses that were offered at his school. Winning The Art Institute of Ohio-Cincinnati’s Best Teen Chef Competition and having the opportunity to compete at the national level will help him realize his goal of becoming a chef and is looking forward to the upcoming competition, and continuing his culinary education.
